lower left abdominal, back , and hip pain?
For 4 months now, I have had lower left abdominal pain, seems to originate from the lower back though, sharp stinging type pain in the left hip, that radiates into my groin and leg. Everything is on the left side. I’m 37 years old, and usually very healthy. I pretty much woke up from a nap one day and felt a horrible pain in my left groin testicle area, it has now migrated to the spots I have mentioned. I’m a bit of a hypocondriac, and immediately start searching the web for lower left abdominal pain causes and find colon cancer and things of that nature. I have no sign of colon cancer in my family. I have had a ct scan of my abdomin and pelvis, and have even done a home fecal occult blood test. All tests were negetive. I’m lost and just want to feel like I felt 4 months ago. I’ve heard lower back strain, hip inflammation, sciatic nerve. Does anyone have these type of symptoms, and can help me figure this out?
There are numerous reasons, as you have said cancer is a remote possibility, you could have a hernia, you could have adhesions in your pertioneal cavity which is unlikely unless you have had previous surgery, you could have a nerve impingement or as the other poster said a kidney stone or a UTI is also possible.
The number of things it could be are just too numerous. You should follow up with your GP. He/she would need to do an actual physical assessment and possibly some diagnostic tests.
Im 20 weeks pregnant and I keep getting a sharp severe pain in my right side?
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and within about the last 3 or 4 days I keep getting a sharp severe pain in my right side and right lower part of my back. One doctor told me it could be mild contractions (although believe me there is nothing mild about this pain. It hurts so bad at some points that I can’t even move) and then another doctor told me that it was probably just round ligament pain. I thought that was in your groin and lower stomach though. Any ideas?? I can’t take this pain anymore.
Do not stay here for advise, only a trained licensed professional that examines you in person can diagnose you.
why take chances
If your doctor is no help (id change him) go to the emergency room.
Pain in my left groin/abdominal area?
I have a pain in my left groin/abdominal area and I hear a popping noise when i left my left leg. I left weights regulary and think I may have hurt it when doing so or when doing situps any idea to what this may be???
its not a constant pain as it comes and goes but its a soreness/pain in my left testicle and to the left of it in my abdomen. Also i get a pain in the lower left of my back. Im just worried if its a hernia as im hoping its just a pulled muslce
It could be a number of things – I’m just concerned that if you are in your twenties that you are the right age for testicular cancer or lymphoma such a Hodgkins Lymphoma –
I’m hoping that you have just pulled a groin muscle but it could be something serious – Please have this checked out by your physician
