Why do I feel a sharp pain on my torso?
This usually occurs when I have a full stomach or I’m bloated. The pain is localized. It occurs around where the rib cage and belly meet, a little right from the esophagus. If I press down on it I can feel it and it subsides. Sometimes a tingly sensation curves over to my back. This is near the middle of the torso, and I know it is not a side stich.
I have already gone to the doctor but they thought it was muscular. They told me to wait a couple of weeks, and see if it stays. I’m thinking of going back but before I would like to know if anyone has any idea what it can be.
When I went, they checked for gallstones with ultrasound. I hope that it’s not because I hear they are painful.
It sure sounds like gas, like your stuffing yourself at meals. Try eating less, enough to be comfortable, when you feel like going for “seconds” don’t, and after eating, take a little walk around the block.
