does this sound like endometriosis?
Since i’d say around February i’ve had bad bad abdominal pain. It all radiates to my lower right side [between hip bone and navel]. I went to 3 doctors, i got an ultrasound on my ovaries and all they said was they saw a moderate amount of fluid floating around in my pelvic area. They guessed it couldve been an ovarian cyst that ruptured but I dont think it’d last for 3 months, he said it could also be endometriosis but they never tested me for it? the pain gets worse during and after sexual intercourse. Sometimes it gets worse with alot of stress, and ive had a few shooting pains in my rectum. I’ve been sleeping alot lately but I just recently had mono also. This pain doesnt go away with any OTC medicines and also didnt fully go away with Ultracet pain killers. Advice PLEASE!!! do i go to yet ANOTHER doctor until i find an answer?
Ovarian cysts can last for months, so it is possible that that’s the cause of your pain.
The only test for endometriosis is laparoscopic surgery; the surgeon makes several small incisions and looks for signs of endo inside your abdominal cavity. They remove whatever they find, but it often grows back.
