Pain after abortion? Is this normal?
I had an abortion about 2 weeks ago, and im just really depressed how can i help that? All i have in my mind is that iv killed something, i feel like why can’t it be me? & i thought it would just be over like that but i found out I have an infection i honestly cant take the pain that im having right now.
It hurts so bad, im feeling faint all the time, im getting a constant headache, my private area is sore & itches, my stomach has a stabbing pain, hurts like hell when i go to the toilet, even when i sit down and im so cunfused about everything, i honestly think i cant take any more of this. I just need help, & i dont know what to do?
What you are feeling emotionally is actually very common after an abortion and many women don’t realise how they will feel afterwards. There is no way back, you have to look forward now. Whats done is done.
Are you receiving treatment for your infection? I presume you have seen a Doctor? Obviously there are two issues here, you are in physical and emotional pain. Things are going to take awhile to get back to normal, your hormones are all over the place too, which adds to it all.
Take some pain killers now for the cramps, unless contradicted, try ibuprofen and/or paracetamol. You need to contact NHS direct- 0845 4647 now, do it tonight. You can’t leave an infection like this.
